The President Just gave me this! Thanks Prez.

 My name is Ed "NJWEEDMAN" Forchion, I wanted to let you know that I once again am
running for office (Camden County Freeholder) & State Assembly (8th Dist)
as a protest to the current marijuana laws, which imprison's hundreds of
thousands of American citizens each year, some for life, simply for using,
100% natural marijuana. Marijuana is far safer than alcohol, or tobacco
which kills 400 hundred thousand, citizens each year. I am  running under the
"Legalize Marijuana Party" as a form of 1st amendment protest. Last year over
3 thousand people voted for me, hopefully many many more will this year.
Jesse Ventura's win in Minnesota was a huge encouragement.

  It is not about MARIJUANA- it's freedom, who gave the Government the
authority to regulate a citizens body. NO-one especially not the Constitution.
The Constitution say's we are free. Yet somehow over the last 100 years
Republican and Democratic politicians have stolen our right to regulate our
own bodies. I choose to use marijuana, a safe natural product for my medical
ailments. I don't want to use most of the manmade chemical drugs that have
been prescribed to me in the past. I choose to use the safer natural product,
MARIJUANA, I'm not a criminal, I treating myself. I don't care if it's illegal
or not. Just because it's legal or illegal doesn't make it right or wrong.
40 years ago my parents couldn't vote in most southern states that was legal
but wrong. At one time it was legal to own people in this country, that was wrong
So I don't care if it's legal or not. It works. Fuck the LAW. The law is wrong.
Help me make a statement that the law is wrong, throw a vote or two my way.

   I don't drink alcohol, or smoke tobacco but I don't care if some-one else
does as long as it doesn't affect me. So why are there so many ASSHOLE's out
there who support these laws which will eventually imprison me for using a natural
substance. I'm not hurting anyone else, in fact I'm helping myself. I use marijuana as
a pain reliever for my CHRONIC BACK PAIN condition.

  The Government has been lying about the benefits of marijuana in much the same way
the tobacco industry lied about the dangers of tobacco. Just as scientist came
out in force in the late 80's to inform the public of the dangerous of tobacco
which the tobacco industry denied, scientist are once again coming out in
force in the late 90's to inform the public of the benefits of marijuana. If you
choose not to use marijuana don't. But stop supporting laws that punish me for using
what has been proven to be a medically useful natural product. It's my body.

   Yes, marijuana's has a few side effect one of which is a mild euphoria (high),
but I enjoy that. The other is the munchies (I'm a little over weight because of
this) and the POLICE. Who have abused me for openly talking of legalization,

   One of the BIGGEST LIES put out by the GOVERNMENT and it's stooge POLICE
agencies is that marijuana is a gateway drug. ---BULLSHIT---! This past March 18th
the National Academy of Science, and the (IOM)-Institute of Medicine released a report,
that was commissioned by the DRUG CZAR General Barry MCcaffery,titled Marijuana
and Medicine. This report was far from what he expected when he commissioned
it in 1996 after California and Arizona citizens legalized it for medical use's.
The General had believed all the anti-marijuana propaganda that the government
has be putting out about marijuana for decades. He was shocked at the positive
effects of marijuana that had been suppressed for years, and the scientific evidence
that marijuana DOES NOT CAUSE people to use other drugs! He immediately ordered the
the government agency NIDA to begin mass research on marijuana. What he should have
done was suggest to congress the we regulate and legalize it. As the Warren Commission
had recommended to President Nixon in 1972. In Nov, 1998 citizens in 5 more states
rejected the Government lies about Marijuana and legalized it, (Alaska, Washington St., Oregon,
Nevada, Colorado, and Arizonia again. Anti-freedom forces led by Congressman (R) Bob Barr Ga.
Also where successful in nullifying the results of citizen iniative #59 in Washington D.C. - Where
citizens voted also for legalization of marijuana but he had the election nullified, despite this being
America. Where the will of the people is supposed to rule.
