Buffalo, NY Febuary 22, 2007 Ed Forchion is the father of 4 children, as well as married and active in his wife's two grown children as well. When Forchion met his wife, Janice, it was the end of long journey, and a turning point in his life. While he had another child with his first wife, he, like so many of us, wanted more children. He seperated from his wife, Pam, and hit the streets. "What I did is plan, I had to go to public places like the train station," Forchion told me, "I got dressed up. I was just having conversations with women. Trying to meet women." He met several, but like him, Janice also wanted to have children. So did Linda who he later lived with for a while and had a child with. "I met several women," Forchion said, "And after I weeded them all out she (his child's mother) had all the same opinions as me." "It sounds weird, talking to women, telling them I want to have a child," Forchion said."I was interveiwing women to be my babies mama". I knew there were two souls wanting to be born if I could only find the women to be the vessel of life. It isn't. Several on-line dating sites trumpet the results of honesty, as a necessary ingredient of a healthy relationships. According to most Relationship Columns; truthful communication at the very first meeting is one way of telling if you're in a good relationship. "The most important thing to do on a first date is to be yourself," said Andrea McGinty, It's Just Lunch founder. "You'll have more fun, and have a better chance at meeting someone that is right for you". Forchion has two children with Janice, and one with LINDA HOLDEN, as well as a daughter with his first-wife Pam. Forchion's relationship with his wife, Janice began when he met her at at the Petro Truck Stop in bordentown NJ where she worked as a fuel cashier. He gave her his number, and the two have been talking ever since. "Once a month, we call it family day, I take all the kids out, to the park or the beach, or somewhere just for them. Me and my wife do the same thing once a month. We'll go to a movie, or out to dinner," Forchion told me. I'm a very family oriented person and Linda's stealing one of my children has hurt me to the core. Before his regular bi-weekly visits with Ajanea were canceled, she would go on the family day once a month. Forchion has never been closed-mouthed about his opinions, he told me. As a child he was often described by teachers and coaches as a kid who would speak out about what was on his mind, that he couldn't be silenced about what he thought, Forchion said. Later he was very open with both Janice and Linda mother of Ajanea. He openely had opinions contrary to the Christian religion, and was also very vocal on his feelings about the Christian religion to anyone. "To me the vast majority of people are sheep," Forchion said, "And I'm a lion, I roar and I roar when I want to roar! Freedom of Speech wasn't designed to protect the sheep, the sheep have nothing to say. It was made to protect people like me, the lions amongst us." Forchion has been utilizing his Freedom of Speech for some time, to the chagrin of many he's been featured in many a mainstream medias article. Mostly he has utilized his freedom of speech by running for office. He was just as clear in his relationships, he told me. "Linda knew that about me, that I was openly-non-Christian, that I endorsed Afro-centric religions, she knew that when she first laid with me," Forchion said. If she had a problem with a non-christian being the father of her child she shouldn't have laid down with me. Since 1996 she has been on a Christian crusade to keep me from my own child. In 2005 I ran for Governor of New Jersey. I was fired from my job, attacked by police and had my child visitation ended. Since July 2005 Judge Morley of the Burlington County family court has refused to enforce my visitation. "I just want visitation!" said Forchion. |
