WAR
CRIMINALS
These
men are wanted for crimes against humanity, they started
a “war” against Iraq
which they called a pre-emptive war. The world called it an:
"illegal act of aggression”.

GEORGE
BUSH

|
President George W. Bush told the nation and the world he had proof of all this
and Congress approved the rush to war, even though doing so meant scaling back
our search for bin Laden in Afghanistan. That was then. This is now. Now we know
that Hussein's so-called weapons of mass destruction did not exist because his
scientists lacked both the resources and the expertise to actually build them.
Now we know that our "proof" of a hard link between Hussein and bin Laden came
from faulty intelligence and any real link has yet to be proven. A war fought on
false pretenses is still a war where more than 500 American soldiers have died,
billions of taxpayer dollars have been wasted and what little remained of this
country's credibility on the world stage has been lost.

ANSLINGER

DEAD
|
Many people believe that Mr. Anslinger collaborated with industry giants to outlaw marijuana. It is known that he was acquainted with both the Hearsts (of Hearst Newspapers) and the DuPonts, of DuPont plastic fame. (Hemp seed oil derivatives could replace DuPont's petroleum derived compounds.)
In the 1930s, Hearst, who owned newspapers all over the country, started publishing sensationalist-type "news" stories about marijuana use. These stories, often written by Hearst or Anslinger himself, talked about "insanity, criminality, and death" caused by smoking marijuana, sometimes after just one joint. This intense propaganda campaign led to anti-marijuana laws in many states.

REGARDING IMPENDING FEDERAL CRACK DOWN ON DRUG USERS
The drug war is worse than redundant and unnecessary: It is based on
misinformation; it's tools are deceit, treachery, thievery, lies,
propaganda and betrayal; it is costly, cruel - and worse, it will never, ever,
reduce the harms that we - rationally or not - associate with illegal drugs.
(Basis for statement: historical fact re all prohibitions)
We already have laws against every criminally aggressive action a
person could possibly commit. If someone hits me on the head or steals my
stuff,logically I don't give a hoot if he's drunk or stoned: It's still
illegal for him to hit me on the head and steal my stuff.
Therefore, the only people we can honestly claim to be persecuting with
drug laws are responsible users who would not even BE criminal were it not
for the drug war.
Non-violent people's drug cases piled sky-high on every prosecutor's
desk are why approx. 1/4 of the people in prison are innocent of the charges
that put them there. The more people we arrest, try, and lock up, the more
mistakes are made, the more innocents are caught in the mix.
(Remember: It could one day be you or someone you love.)
The drug laws are why school budgets are suffering while we build
prisons. It is why the prisons are filled to overflowing with non-criminal type
people. It's why we can't afford to rehabilitate real criminals.
The drug laws not only destroy the lives of millions of people
purportedly to 'save them' from the harms of (some) drugs, but the drug war
actually increases the risk to the rest of us of becoming the victims of a
shell-shocked, angry, diseased or mentally impaired ex-felon emerging
from what has become nothing less than human warehouses and nothing more
than torture chambers.
Like the retired undercover police officer, Jack Cole said, "You can
get over an addiction - but you can never get over a conviction."
