In 1993 the U.S. Congress passed the (42 U.S.C. § 2000bb(a)) Religious Freedom and Restoration Act which allows for the religious use of marijuana on federal grounds; during the course of a religious ceremony.
Since Dec. 20th, 2003 local provocateurs, Pat Duff and NJWEEDMAN, have demonstrated this fact by smoking marijuana at the LIBERTY BELL every month. Thier goal is to prove that the use of marijuana at the LIBERTY BELL IS LEGAL!

was held in U.S. FEDERAL District Court (Camden, NJ) to determine if Ed
Forchion -aka- NJWEEDMAN should be returned to the New Jersey prison
system based on his use of HIS Constitutionally Guaranteed First Amendment
Right to Freedom of Speech and Religion. In the meantime Ed Forchions
Family are true victims of this unconscionable war that our government is
waging against the poor and non-whites in the U.S. as well as against
people of color thru-out the world; i.e. the people of Colombia, Bolivia,

U.S. SHAFER COMMISSION recommended decriminalization (as had other
studies), yet the NIXON administration ignored the results, and
increased the enforcement of marijuana laws. From 1972-2000, 13,265,105
were Americans arrested on marijuana charges, countless families have been
destroyed by marijuana enforcement. To what end? The marijuana laws have
not prevented nearly 80 million Americans from trying marijuana, nor have
they prevented marijuana from becoming the most valuable cash crop in many

September 22nd, 2003 New Jersey Gov. James McGreevey signed (L. 2003, c. 183 )
legislation into law making every person convicted of a crime (1st
degree down thru 4th degree) compelled to surrender DNA to the
state Police and Federal “DNA” – DATABANK. This law makes persons convicted
of a crime prior to this law’s enactment liable to comply, retroactive laws
are regugnant to the principals of a free society.
This new law in the opinion of “NJWEEDMAN” is an example of the “EX POST
FACTO” laws the founding fathers outlawed at Article 1 Section 9 of the U.S.
Constitution.
