I was assaulted several times by police officers, I had bogus charges filed against me, I had my life threatened by the somerdale,  New Jersey, police department,  and I have lost the right to see one of my children all because I said openly, “Marijuana is a natural medicine and should be legal,” before this report was unveiled. I was called crazy, and demonized with terms like drug addict, and loser. Whether you use marijuana or not this should offend every American, who takes the constitution seriously. 

What I was saying, was not only right but I should have been protected by the first amendment, Judge Bell who took my visitation said, “Forget the 1st amendment it’s about the child”. And preceded to take my visitations away and ordered me to remove my campaign signs from my vehicle. That’s right, I have only seen my child twice since announcing my intention to run for office under the “legalize Marijuana Party” slogan once in court.  I had a visitation order prior to that, although it wasn’t being enforced with the same threat of arrest that males are under for not abiding by child support orders. If I had chosen to run for office under a more politically correct slogan none of the before mentioned civil rights violations would ever have occurred.  Citizens have been blinded by the Republican and Democratic party,  policy of  “War” and propaganda that even the first amendment isn’t enforced if you disagree with party politics concerning the “drug war”.  Free speech extends to us all. Even to us “legalizers”.

        I want to say, “I told you,” or “I knew it,” but unfortunately it’s a whole lot more serious than that for me and my family. My brother Russell is to begin serving a 7 year sentence for possession of marijuana tomorrow,  March 19th. I’m also facing the same charges, that will probably send me to a POW camp for 15 plus years. All because we knew the benefits of marijuana and have resisted the forced marijuana prohibition.

I have known of marijuana effectiveness as a medicine for close to twenty years. I have used it since I was 15 with no dangerous side effects other than law enforcement! Or should I say, Idiotic Law enforcement.Millions of us have known, but just as the tobacco companies have lied for decades about the dangerous effects of tobacco. Our government, especially congress, has been lying to Americans about the benefits of marijuana.While also spreading myths like the gateway theory. And demonizing marijuana users, and imprisoning them.

I've been a life-long asthmatic, which marijuana greatly helps, and now suffer for a chronic pain condition as a result of a car accident.  I choose to use  marijuana in it’s natural form. I prefer to smoke-it. I have tried eating it. I prefer to smoke-it! Usually with my illegal bong.

Marijuana is the medicine I choose to use. I don’t smoke tobacco which everyone now say’s is dangerous, yet legal. The marijuana law’s are obviously wrong. Now the public at large has been informed by scientists. Scientists where the one’s who exposed the dangers of tobacco, and again it’s scientist who have revealed to society what millions of us have always known.  Politicians and so-called religious leaders are still advocating imprisoning people like me and my brother because we choose to use marijuana , and because again we know that marijuana is a non addictive natural medicine.  Doctors are forbidden to recommend marijuana use for political reasons, not medical reasons. We likewise are being sent to NJ Prisoner of War camps, for defying the marijuana laws that were just proven wrong,  for political reasons.  No-one should be imprisoned for defying the marijuana laws, marijuana should be removed from the “War on drugs” immediately, marijuana has consistently been proven  not to be a schedule 1 drug!

Not only am I going to pursue the 17 million dollar civil rights lawsuit that I filed, (10-8-98) but I’m running for office again. I will be openly advocating Jury Nullification to my potential jurors for my upcoming trial throughout my campaign. Which I will formally kick-off at the Peace Pot Picnic, April 24th.  Peace not War.
