            L. 2003, c. 183 was signed into law September 22, 2003. This law requires that every person convicted of a crime have a biological sample, such as saliva, collected for purposes of DNA testing. Persons convicted of a crime prior to the effective date of this law who, on the effective date, were serving a sentence of probation as a result of the crime are required to provide a DNA sample before termination of their probation.

 

Therefore, pursuant to the court order signed by Judge Orlando on 9/22/03, which mandates you to provide a DNA sample, please report on 12/2/2003 to the Camden County Hall of Justice, 101 South 5th Street, Camden, N.J., Sheriff’s Office, 1st floor, at 10:00am such that a sample may be taken.

 

            Please know that attendance will be closely monitored, and failure to appear may result in a warrant being issued for your arrest.
